1770 Fest
1770 Fest is held around mid-May each year. DCDC participates in the Street Parade and also performs throughout the weekend.

Street Parade
Arrive before 8am at the Marina Carpark. The road will close and you won't be able to get through.
Please wear your DCDC uniform. If you don't have a uniform, please wear black and purple dance wear. If you'd like to purchase a uniform, please get in touch.
Don't forget to fill out the permission slip if you are coming on the float with us.
Running Order for Perfomances
TBC
Costumes
The Costume rental fee is $30.

Costume purchases range from $40-$120 per costume. The Costume Price List will be released closer to the time.

If you don’t own your costume, your costume will be given to you at the festival (your name will be on the tag – do not remove the name tag). You will need to arrive at least 30 minutes earlier (hair & make up ready) to receive your costume.

The rental fee will be added to your account and is required to be paid prior to the festival. Any damage to the costume will result in either a cleaning fee or a full purchase fee.

If you are in a rental costume, please return straight to the dressing room after your performance to change. Please return your costume just as you received it.

If you are purchasing your costume, you need to let us know 7 days before the festival start date. Unfortunately, if you let me know after this date, you will still be charged the rental fee.
Underwear
Please ensure you are wearing appropriate underwear under your costume. Skin coloured dance/gym briefs are best (g-strings for our older students). Please ensure underwear is tucked under the costume and not showing.
